Top Tank is essentially one part endless runner, and one part Scorched Earth (or Worms, if you prefer). The concept is simple; just hold down the big red button to raise your turret and release it to fire. Five unique locales, power-ups, eleven achievements, and Game Center support, amongst other things. And, of course, 100% developed with Gideros!
It's currently sitting in Apple's hands awaiting review. If all goes well, it'll be in the App Store December 1st!

How do you create the scrolling road, may be a procedural generation algorithm applied to Shapes or Meshes?

The road is indeed procedurally generated. It's just a series of Sprites with bitmaps at three different slopes and flipped for the down hill side. The height is determined by a sine wave generator that's fed a value which gets incremented somewhat randomly.

Well done!

Don't forget to post a link on Monday!
(and if it's a paid app then a few promo codes distributed via pm would be nice - in exchange for some 5* reviews of course )

Sadly, acquiring an app with a promo code on iTunes actually prevents you from writing a review! Unbelievable huh?

Anyway, I hit the big "release" button yesterday morning and though it says, "Ready for sale", it still hasn't appeared in the store. I'm reading that Apple's "up to 24 hours" policy is dubious at best these days and that it could take a good while longer. I'll let you know when it shows up.

Here are a few promotional codes for you guys. Please let me know which ones you grab so I'll know what's left.

Also, a couple of people have reported crashes during the first couple of attempts loading the game. Please let me know if you run in to any problems. If it persists, try turning on Airplane Mode and see if that solves the problem. It could be a Game Center issue, but that's just a guess right now.
PRAISE and CONGRATS and a tip o' the hat to you, FlimFlamboyant.
How do you make your animations and gameplay so perfectly, consistently smooth, responsive and glitch-free? Would you please give us a few tips?
Certainly no crashes here. Not even a hiccup.

One, and probably the most important is texture atlases, or TexturePacks, as they're called in Gideros. The GPU can only draw from one at any given time, and every time it has to swap one for another, performance takes a pretty good hit. Top Tank can, of course, cram a lot in to a single texture, since it just uses tiny pixel graphics, so there isn't much swapping going on.
The other is drawing in batches. Gideros already takes care of a great deal of this behind scenes, and I'm not sure what the process is, but every time you introduce a new blending mode, additive, screen, multiply, whatever; it breaks the batch, as the GPU can only draw batches of triangles to the screen one blend mode at a time.
Both batches and texture swaps are going to be affected by the order in which everything was added to the stage, so that's something else to consider. You may only have two textures being used in a single scene, but if you stack your Sprites in such a way that they alternate many times between the two textures, that could potentially add up to a lot of swapping.
Like I said, I'm not familiar with all the inner workings of Gideros, but if you run in to performance issues, these are some of the most common and most impactful things to look for.
As for glitches, I don't know that I have any magic formulas... Top Tank is pretty simple, which certainly helps. Zerobrane Studio is great for catching especially pesky bugs. Other than that, lots of Testflight, and lots of play time!

Kongoratz!!
By the way, our team love your game so much! We play all day and reach ~ 300.000 point so far
Talis: The status of the Android version is kind of up in the air at the moment. If something does happen, it likely won't be before the first of the year. The game does run great on my Nexus 7; I just need to familiarize myself with the Google Play store and all the gritty details that surround getting a game released there.

If the stretch goal fails then there is a possibility of either someone making a Pi version (once OpenGL2 in the main Kickstarter is reached) or a second Kickstarter especially for the Pi.
