  This is very impressive. Love the graphics animations and fade effects. Desparately needs music though nice chiptune sound to match the gfx, try incompetech kevin mcleods site. Are you using actual 3d graphics or 2d overlaid to look 3d?

  I'm already trying to bring some music into the game!
  And yes, those walls are just 2D images. Everything is actually just flat moving planes.

  I agree with the need for some background sounds, but not "any music"
  
  Given the suspension of disbelief I experienced with silence, I would also try a wind sound loop with windy sound effects fading here and there (howling while passing near rocks for example, or suit flapping during fast player movements)
  
  
  If I may ask, how did you manage collisions and z-index?
  
  I am usually not a fan of action games, but I will play a lot on this one!

  Maybe you could add a 8bit or chiptune music because it will be awesome.

  I also think a whooshing sound as obstacles go by would be good and also graphic effects suggesting streams of air. Also make it go really fast sometimes
