If you are in London on the 18th or 19th of November then you should visit the Stand at ExCel...
http://europe.apps-world.net/exhibitor-list/GiderosMobile will be there and if you are interested in using Gideros then it would be a great place to visit and ask questions in person.
Anyone already using Gideros might also like to visit to have a chat and let people know what they are up to.
(I'll also have a stand there and will be showing the Dungeons game
)

It would be good if people from the 'community' looked to see what was happening near them computer exhibition-wise and ask if they can have a free stand. The more people know about Gideros the better it will be for all of us.

If you have any info/ideas/guidelines on what should be on show (e.g. the best games made with Gideros / make a simple game workshop), I'd love to hear more
I know Corona do something like this and they have what they call 'ambassadors' in different countries to spread the word.

Also if someone could come up with a workshop plan - so we could publish it on the website for teachers and to use at things like Raspberry Jams, etc then that would be equally great.

@Ninjadoodle, yes, it's a great idea to have ambassadors. I need to think of some guidelines, artwork etc. I'll be preparing a poster for Apps World so can circulate the file for others to print out. Also business card templates etc.

I'm be very happy to lend a hand at making up some artwork for you guys
Could be anything from characters (robots, monsters, aliens etc.) to background assets for use in tutorials.
You can see my games at http://www.ninjadoodle.com
Most of them are made with Flash, but the last few are HTML5.
For the more colourful ones, try the ClickPlay / ClickPlay Time games.
If you like the style, I'd be very happy to help!

It would be cool to see a few pictures and maybe a wee writeup from the show?

Here is a quick snap from the two best stands at the show. @SinisterSoft and @john26 showing what the best Lua game SDK can do. Yes, Gideros.

As you can see from the above, @SinisterSoft was presenting his Dungeons game (written in Gideros) next to me and we also met with @totebo. Several influential people visited the Gideros stand including some people from Marmalade so we had a chat about Lua integration, OpenGL etc.
On the Wednesday I gave an 8 minute "pitch" to the press about Gideros. I prepared a PowerPoint presentation for this (which I could upload if people want to see it).
I also did two recorded interviews for members of the press who came round to my stand. I'll send links of this when I get them.
Hopefully it will all result in some more publicity for Gideros and more users.
Here are some pictures of the event.
