Problem adding new scene

Im using scenemanager and if I try to add a new scene I get the error " attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)" which I assume means that scenemanager cant find the new scene and thus returns nill. So my question is how do I add a new scene?

I think you're missing something in your code, but it's hard to guess what without seeing it
