    Hi everyone,

    I’ve been loitering in the Gideros forum - and asking the odd question - for quite some time, but haven’t introduced myself formally yet.

    I’m an old-school games industry guy: dev’ing since the mid 1980’s. In that time I’ve been an artist, animator, designer, writer and producer. I wanted to start making my own games and was recommended Gideros by @SinisterSoft (we used to work together a looooong, long time ago).

    I’ve just finished my first project, so I guess I could now add programmer to my skill-set (or at least scripter).

      @Favfly welcome on-board . Nice to have experienced developers on our side. Mid 1980's were the golden year of computer games. Atari, radioshack, amstrad, sinclair , comodore , gameboy, amiga... Really looking forward your new games and posts. Welcome again :)

      @Favfly I can see from your ( very nicely coded ) slots game that if we ever do our own reboots of Superhero then you're going to be healthy competition for who does the best version. :)

      I think we should do it. I have to finished off a couple of things first though. :)

      Rebooting Superhero isn't what I have in mind for my next project.
      A game like that needs to be on xBox and/or Playstation. And Gideros doesn't cater to those platforms.

      xbox should work. But you are right, no money in that type of game on handheld devices unless the control interface was completely different. Puzzle and social games make much more money.

      Generate a windows RT version. This is basically a UWP program, you should be able to just change the target to xbox one in Visual Studio and send it across.

      I forgot to mention, I did try this ages ago (Feb 2019) and it worked. :)
