luapower - can it be combined with gideros?

so i've found https://luapower.com/ recently, and it has (among others) native ui's for desktops which made me interested in it. i was unable to find how to compile any example of how ui works. while i would be interested in how to setup such a running example, it's not a strictly gideros question.
what does concern gideros however is if the two can be combined. so can i e.g. use native ui from luapower within gideros?
