Use GTween or MovieClip - I personally use MovieClip or tween in code.

Seems to work fine for me - at least what I use it for anyhow.

I use the time between frames passed to the event, that way the platform isn't important. I think MovieClip uses this as it seems to match the times accurately.

One day I will rewrite the editor to be less buggy and work with TexturePacks (because you should totally be using those right from the start!)
