Cannot wait to get my hands on the new release with Shaders, LÖVE has had them for a while and this is one very good example of the same.

Do they use the same shader lab language that they use in unity?

Dunno, haven't worked much with Unity as it requires a windows O/S and C#

@OZApps, just to clarify my assumptions of what "shaders" really are... at this point the only thing that comes to mind, are the dude you see walking around in the city at night wearing sunglasses..... im thinking its do with putting reflections on objects ?

Hmmmm, fair point, reflections are not shaders, here is a good resource to start

Shaders can help add special effects to the app where one could have glowing objects, lights, etc.

So basically you are using open gl graphic api language.

@zoolax, the sample that I got the screenshot from has the shaders written in Lua, and I am not sure how it would be available in Gideros, it could be a Lua implementation or even allow the OpenGL API's. @Atilim or @ar2rsawseen could respond (supposing shaders are already available in the test version @ar2rsawseen was testing)

@OZApps, ooh, well, khm, #-o I don't know how to bring that to you.
But shaders will be with OpenGL ES 2, this will be the last release on OpenGL Es 1 version for those who does not want to drop support for older phones, so this release would only contain render to texture, some other texture additions and lots and lots of bug fixes

I kind of gave up on shaders and haven't been here for ages because I had to finish a project that needed them. Is this not done yet?
