  You have to have an active WiFi connection to test in Gideros Player. Maybe that's the issue?

  I have the active wifi connection as well where as in android device it works right.

  @DoradoLab check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking it or part of it (gdrbridge, gdrdaemon...), you don't need to have a connected wifi to use gideros player on your laptop as far as I know, it uses a local connection to communicate with the local player

  I also thought that @pie, but when I turn the WiFi off on my Mac, the Gideros Player stops communicating.

  @totebo it seems to be a Mac issue then
  I can use local player on win7 64x without wifi

  No i reinstalled my whole OS to 32 bit windows 7 and using the latest Gideros version. As soon as i click start local player it just opens a window and a force close happens with a error message GiderosPlayer.exe stopped working. Can you please help me out.

  Your crash seems to be related to your Intel Graphics OpenGL driver. You should start by installing the latest driver first.

  @DoradoLab Does an older version work? If so then it maybe to do with a change to QT, this should be fixed in the next version due in the next few days...

  This is a bug in 2016.6. Please install 2016.4 instead. We have now corrected the bug in the next version which is in testing and will be out soon.

  Is there any workaround to temporary fix this or do I have to wait for the next release?
  I was willing to try some of the new features, but I have a similar player crash issue with 2016.06 on win7.

  p.s. I can't find the gideros release version in the installer, it would be good to have it somewhere visible before installing it (see attached image)
