@DoradoLab check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking it or part of it (gdrbridge, gdrdaemon...), you don't need to have a connected wifi to use gideros player on your laptop as far as I know, it uses a local connection to communicate with the local player
No i reinstalled my whole OS to 32 bit windows 7 and using the latest Gideros version. As soon as i click start local player it just opens a window and a force close happens with a error message GiderosPlayer.exe stopped working. Can you please help me out.
@DoradoLab Does an older version work? If so then it maybe to do with a change to QT, this should be fixed in the next version due in the next few days...

Is there any workaround to temporary fix this or do I have to wait for the next release? I was willing to try some of the new features, but I have a similar player crash issue with 2016.06 on win7.
