Hi guys!
Nowadays, for a mobile game to be successful, it has to be published by major publishers.
Single developer does not have enough advertising budget and other promotion opportunities (cross-promo,etc.).
I was going to pitch my game to publishers when it'll be ready, but there're two SDKs that are required:
- Facebook SDK (always mandatory)
- Gameanalytics SDK (always mandatory)
- Appsflyer (not always, but very often mandatory too)
Imo it would be great for Gideros to support these sdks.
Otherwise, there's no way to work with any publisher, and no way to perform user acquisition by ourselves (even if we had our own advertising budget, it'll be wasted in no time without decent analytics, especially facebook).

This stuff (probably) is not that important for publishers:
Login: People can easily sign in to your game with their Facebook Login.
Share: People can share content with their friends. They can also share Custom Stories with Open Graph.
Game Invites: People can send invites to friends from your game.
App Events: Understand people's actions in your game and measure the effectiveness of your Mobile App Ads.
Graph API: Get data in and out of Facebook's social graph. Query data, post stories, upload photos and do other tasks.

Demand a specific amount, part before the game is edited, the balance when you hand over the game.
If the publisher is offering you% of your revenue - do not agree to the edit. Launch your product as you intended it.

If the publisher tells you to change something in the game - that the publisher must take the financial risks and pay you, you do not have to take the financial risks for the publisher's decision.
багато видавців вимагають зовсім не потрібні речі, які не дають ніякого результату. Якщо ти відразу не вимагатимеш плату за кожну зміну -то видавець тобі сяде на голову.
