If you are looking at GiderosStudio and want to retain all of your IP on the other framework, there is a solution, the Compatibility Library, add this to your project and run any C*SDK code. Do you remember the Bezier curves demo on C*SDK? Here's a video of that running on GiderosStudio without making any changes to the original code.
If you are interested, there will be an early bird special price for those that help and support this effort. let me know if you want to be one of the early adopters.
NOTE: This shall be distributed in bytecode format, so there will be no source code available when you buy this library.
This is currently mapped to use the display objects only. Get it and compile your apps off-line using xcode or Eclipse(Android build tools) and deploy your C*SDK apps on the ARMv6 device...

how can you get this? You can make pre-orders for the compatibility layer via paypal and play with the ß version as it is being developed.

I should be able to open this up for ß testing in the coming week (if I can get a few things done over the weekend)
Those that want to test is can pay for the ß version and if they like it, can pay the differential (will get a discount for supporting the beta and keeping the pressure on) when the version is ready for release.
If there are some features that you want to see as part of the library, (that can be under the scope of what's available with GiderosStudio, not supporting any plug-ins) can be included.
Though I must say that using GiderosStudio natively is awesome, but then you can always support the effort and get the Compatibility Layer (codenamed Shandy, like the Beer + Lemonade Drink)
Details on what's there and whats not

(I'm still fond of them U see and also I don't think I would ever have made much progress)
But this is just super-awesome!
Any updates on when this library would become live?
BTW @OZApps I never got my hands on the source code for the Original bezier curve.
Is there a link for it? Can you pm me?
My other priorities put this back a bit. However, I shall be releasing a ß version next month, that can be used for testing by those that are interested. I will keep you on that list and let you know.

*edit* maybe I should read my own sentences before posting - especially after drinking Snakebite!

Actually I meant to ask you about the *beer* widget's library. I'm actually looking into replicating most of the functionality using a native plugin (using Mike & Caroline's excellent code as a base) as I wanted to be able to expose as much of the Core Graphics stuff as possible, I can see a massive market for quickly developed native UI style apps, but I wanted to be able to use extra skin's etc to make them stand out.

Did you see Widget Candy, x-pressive.com has a wonderful library for widgets that are also skinable.

I have not tested it with Kwik (could not afford to get PS5 or later still stuck with PS4) However ti would be interesting to see, maybe if you send me some code that is generated using Kwik, I can test that. I did not focus on Director as it was 3rd party but if your reliance is on Director, can look into extending the support for that.
We can look into that and take this discussion offline by email.

Any ETA for this? Also, do you have a web link for the compatibility layer?

The project had taken a backseat for a reason that would be appreciated by many (details will be revealed near the end of the year, but for now all I can say that Atilim is involved in this)

I fully appreciate what a huge effort this must be. In fact it will be an ongoing effort as changes to Corona or Gideros will constantly break the compatibility.
In the meantime, I wonder if anyone has prepared a simple guide for those wishing to port by hand? Just advice like Corona X maps to Gideros Y would be helpful. I did a search but found nothing like this.
